When GOD brings you into a new season... Do you run and hide or do you embrace it?

Honestly, the new seasons GOD brings you into, most times are not a smooth transition. One of the biggest hindrances of a smooth transition can be your past. Well at least for me it has been. Oh how your past tends to creep back into your mind when a new door has been opened for you. It's right there to bring doubt, confusion, and fear, among other barriers and obstacles, to hinder your transition. Ultimately, it could stop you from making a move or delaying what GOD wants to give you. We all have past decisions and actions that we may reject and dismiss, want to forget about, or felt we could have handled differently. It changed the way certain situations played out, and most times in our own opinion for the worse. Some of these actions and decisions took place many years ago, but one open door can bring those past mistakes and memories back to deflect what GOD is trying to do in your life. You start focusing on those mistakes and not realizing that you have already been forgiven for them. GOD has forgiven you. So tell me, why do we allow ourselves to focus on things that we've already been forgiven for? Anytime that happens we must pray and ask GOD to remove those thoughts and to rebuke them in the name of Jesus Christ!!! Do you know the enemy knows exactly what that open door will do for the ministry of the church, the glory it will bring to GOD, and the blessing in store for you? It's happened to me where those thoughts of fear, confusion, and doubt started to creep back into my mind during a new season or transition. Who do you think sent them? The enemy! He doesn't want those great things GOD is working on to become a reality for you. He wants to hold you captive from GOD and his works. So he invades your personal space. He invades your thoughts. He invades your mind. Ultimately leading to the invasion of your heart and spirit. But the enemy cannot have our mind, our heart, or our spirit. Unless we allow him to. Unless we accept defeat and allow him to win. Early last month, for over a week I had thoughts of doubt, confusion and fear. These negative thoughts came during a time a new door was opening and of course I wasn't expecting it. Slowly thoughts of my past came into my mind. Thoughts of not being prepared and failing. Not having clarity and understanding the role GOD was placing me in. Was I even ready? Could I even handle it? Am I even prepared? So many questions and so many doubts ran through my mind. I was anxious. I could feel the doubt, the fear, growing more and more in my spirit. I was praying every chance I got but I just could not shake it. On my way home one Saturday, I had a revelation of what would be on the other side of this new open door. I was amazed of what GOD would be doing in my life, amazed at the role he would put me in along with someone that would be by my side. That I would literally be moved out of my comfort zone because I would eventually have to leave the city that I was raised in. It was so much more that GOD wanted to show me and tell me and that the time was coming. When I got home, I immediately fell to my knees and started rebuking every thought of doubt, fear and confusion. That they no longer belonged in my heart, mind or spirit. What GOD has for me is for me. Nothing the enemy attempts to do will change that. I rebuke him and his attack on my mind, my spirit and my life. He had no right to be in my thoughts. He had to leave. Immediately the negative thoughts ceased. I could finally rest and sleep at night knowing the enemy has already been defeated and GOD has been and will always be in control. PEACE and SERENITY! It's important to make sure that you are intentional about praying to GOD and staying in tune with the spirit. Don't allow the enemy to get a foothold in your life. Don't allow any room for him to enter. He seeks out vulnerability. Like when we are not praying as much or really making sure we are truly having a personal relationship with GOD. Or even when things seem to be going great and we simply make time for other things instead of laying at our father's feet daily. We must be and remain committed and intentional every single day! Once GOD reveals to you what he plans to do and his promises, trust that he has already given you the tools you need. Trust that the resources you need will be in place. Just trust in HIM. I AM!!!

Love You!!
